TRACE commiserates with governor Abiodun over father’s death


The Commander/Chief Executive, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, ‘Seni Ogunyemi, management and the entire operatives of TRACE Corps, have commiserated with the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Abiodun family and the state and its people on the death of Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun.

Pa Emmanuel Abiodun, who was the governor’s father died at the age of 89 on August 2nd 2021.

The condolence message was signed by the Public Relations Officer, TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, a copy of which was made available to our correspondent in Abeokuta.

The statement read in part, “Though the news of the Governor’s father’s demise came as shock and disbelief, who are we to query God, more so  against the backdrop that he lived a fulfilled and exemplary life.

“A life of dedication of service to humanity and community.

“As a teachers’ teacher, he was a disciplinarian who imparted right values and which impacted positively, on all who came  along his path, particularly in the old Western Region.

“As we empathise with His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, (MFR), and the Abiodun family in this moment of grief and sorrow, it is our prayers that God Almighty will continue to console, comfort and hold the family strong..
