Sunday Igboho’s Ibadan residence attacked hours to Lagos rally

The Ibadan Soka residence of the Yoruba self-determination agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has reportedly been attacked by unknown gunmen.

This came almost two months after the reported midnight attack on one of his residences at Soka area of the city.

The early Thursday  morning attack came  hours to his planned Lagos rally, which had been greeted with so much heat.

One of his media aides, Dapo Salami, confirmed the incident to journalists.

He said, “The residence was attacked early this (Thursday) morning.”

He, however,  explained that he was on his way to the property to see things for himself.

He added, “Yes, I was told his house was attacked but he is fine. I am on my way there now to see what happened.”

The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, when contacted said he also heard of it “but will find out to get the details of what happened.”

Reports indicated that the house was invaded around 2am on Thursday and cars and walls of the property were riddled with bullets.

Some of the occupants of the house were said to have been whisked away by the invaders who were alleged to have dressed in military camouflage.
