News reaching NOTM indicated that the Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and his Deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, both delivered their polling units, by defeating their opponents.
Gov Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who voted at his Polling Unit 2, Ward 3, Ita Osanyin, Iperu Remo in Ikenne local government polled 147 votes to beat his closest rival, Hon Ladipupo Adebutu of PDP with 142 votes.
Biyi Otegbeye of the African Democratic Congress got only two votes.
In the same vein, Noimot Salako-Oyedele at her Ward 3, Polling Unit 76, Ota in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government also clinched victory for her party, APC polling 147, PDP recorded 37 votes while ADC got 6 votes.
In the same Polling Unit, for the House of Assembly, APC polled 144, PDP 33 while ADC had 8 votes.
