Lagos Assembly lawmaker, Buraimoh, laid to rest


The remains of the lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Tunde Buraimoh, had been buried according to Islamic rites at the Ikoyi cemetery on Friday afternoon.

He died early Friday morning at a public hospital in Lagos.

He was the Chairman, House Committee on Information and Strategy.

One of his colleagues, Babatunde Okanlawon, representing Kosofe constituency 1, confirmed Buraimoh’s death on his Facebook wall.

The late lawmaker was also the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government between 1999 and 2002.

Born September 30, 1960, Buraimoh attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye where he studied law and graduated in 1988.

He was re-elected for a second term as a lawmaker on Saturday, March 9.
