Hundreds of youths under the aegis of Omo Oduduwa United have besieged the streets of Osogbo capital of Osun State, early today agitating for the Yoruba nation.
News reaching this medium has it that the protesters, moving in motorcades and on foot, later converged on November 27 bridge in the Africa area, Osogbo to commence the rally.
They left November 27 bridge and marched through Ogo-Oluwa, Aregbe junction, Fakunle, Ola-Iya and Odi Olowo areas.
They bore placards, and banners, and they were heardchanting secession songs and distributing handbills to people on the streets.
Security agents and operatives of the state security network, Amotekun had cordoned off Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Old Garage, where the rally was billed to hold.
Meanwhile, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has arrived Osogbo at exactly 1.40pm to join other agitators who had stormed the streets at the early hours of Saturday.
According to The Nation, Igboho stormed the capital city with many of his supporters in his convoy.
