Just in: Lagos Assembly spokesman, Tunde Braimoh, dies



The lawmaker representing Kosofe constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Tunde Buraimoh, is dead.

He was the Chairman, House Committee on Information.

Details of his death were sketchy as at the time of filing this report, however, one of his colleagues, Babatunde Okanlawon representing Kosofe constituency 1, confirmed it on his Facebook wall.

He was said to have died at a Lagos hospital last night.

The late lawmaker was also the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government between 1999 and 2002.

He was also the Bamofin of Ketuland.

Born September 30, 1960, Buraimoh attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye where he studied law and graduated in 1988.

He was re-elected for a second term as a lawmaker on Saturday, March 9.
