Outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari has conferred the nation’s highest honour, Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic on the incoming President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Also, Vice President-elect Kashim Settima was decorated as Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, GCON.
The investiture of national honours and official handover of transition documents ceremony were performed at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, on Thursday morning.
