Tenants in another three-storey building about 200 metres away from the one that collapsed which appeared distressed have been asked to vacate the building to avoid another disaster.

Building collapse has become a recurring decimal in Lagos, as another building collapsed at Iwaya area of the city not too long ago, and the 22-storey building which collapsed November last year with a number of casualties recorded.

Committees have been raised by the Lagos State Government to checkmate this menace but there has been no headway.
