The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has reeled out what he said are prophecies received by him for the year 2022.
Though he did not expatiate on the prophecy on Nigeria, rather he spoke in parable.
This and more, he read out from his notebook at the Cross-over Night at the Redemption Camp, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday.
The highly reverred cleric began by describing to the congregation how all manner of prophecies will be coming in the next few days and however he added that prophecies from God addressed specific issues and not based on probability.
He said, ” Some of us might be asking what is God saying about Nigeria? I don’t want to speak about Nigeria, all I can say is in parable. You know the English has a proverb, ‘You don’t make omelettes without breaking eggs’. God will explain that to you.”
Reeling out the other specifics from his list for 2022, it indicates further:
1.More than 80% of projects started in 2021 will succeed. This has nothing to do with economics of the world.
2.There will be an emergence of previously unknown stars in the new year
3.In spite of everything, 2022 will witness a massive breakthroughs in Science and Finances
4.Infant Mortality will be reduced by at least by 50%
- Migration will take a new turn in the new year(issue of migrants’ )
- There will be two monstrous storms, one coming from Atlantic, called Hurricane and the other from Pacific, called Typhoon.
Pastor Adeboye noted that unless the storms are weakened through prayers, they might wrought havoc.
He, however, called for 1,000 volunteers on the live programme who should indicate their willingness through a telephone line shared to enable prospective volunteers join as prayer warriors.
The task, he said, is to earmark 72 hours prayer and fasting to seek God’s face on on weakening the raging coronavirus disease(COVID-19) and the impending storms.
Speaking on COVID-19, the cleric described the situation as a spill over of the 2020 prophecies. And he noted that the world was busy chasing vaccines instead of admitting Jehovah is God.
He said, “If you look at prophecy of last year, you will see that some of the issues of 2020 spilled into 2021.The second prophecy of 2021 was that the world won’t get out of the woods until they admit Jehovah is God.
“You are making vaccines and new variants surfacing. After COVID-19, then Alpha, Beta,Delta and now Omicron.
“I told you this problem coming(COVID-19)would make the world convulse like a child. That they would have to apologize to God.”
The man of God, however, said that urgent need is also required to avoid what happened to South Africa after the country first detected Omicron. He described Omicron as a grandchild of COVID-19 and not its baby.
He said, “South Africa was the first to detect Omicron. In the future, if a new one surfaces, those who detect such would not talk because they won’t want what happened to South Africa happen to them. So we need to do something urgently so that there would be no more grandchild of COVID-19.”
However, while addressing the congregants and RCCG faiful, Pastor Adeboye announced to the church that God specifically told him that the ‘siege is over’, to which they all shouted resounding ‘Amen.’
Though he made veiled reference that there are specific prophecies for the church, he said the pastors in different parishes would relate these good news to the RCCG faithful on Sunday.
