Two persons lost their lives in an auto accident involving a truck and a motorcycle which occurred at Oni &Sons bus stop Arigbajo, along the Lagos -Abeokuta Expressway.
Traffic report from the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps indicated that the accident occurred around 8.15 pm on Monday, and both the truck and the motorcycle were heading towards Ifo-Sango axis.
The Public Relations Officer, TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi told our correspondent that the two victims were Okada rider and the passenger and the ill-fated Bajaj motorcycle bore number plate TRE 301 VV.
He gave the number plate of the Iveco Truck as KNN 357 ZY.
Akinbiyi giving details of how the accident happened said “according to an eyewitness, it was due to lack of concentration and loss of control on part of motorcycle rider.”
He said the rider rode into the track of the truck leading to it crushing them in the process.
Akinbiyi added that hoodlums had wanted to set the truck but for the quick intervention of law enforcement agents
.Meanwhile, he said the corpses of the victims had been deposited at the State General Hospital, Ifo by the Federal Road Safety Corps.
