.The CP and TRACE PRO, Babatunde Akinbiyi
He said they should understand the mandate of their agencies and be able to communicate in creative ways thereby bridging the gap between their agencies and the public.
He gave this charge during a courtesy visit by members of the Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers’ Forum (MILPOPPROF), led by the Chairman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi who doubles as the State PPRO, to the CP in his office at the Ogun State Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, Eleweran in Abeokuta on Tuesday.
The CP who lauded the idea for the creation of the forum said the forum would further strengthen the synergy amongst the agencies to achieve a common goal.
He, however, advised that the forum should be used as an avenue for problem solving and sharing of intelligence.
In attendance were the spokespersons of the Nigeria Navy, Police, Immigration, Federal fire, Correctional Service, NDLEA, FRSC, NSCDC, Ogun State Fire Service, TRACE Corps and SO-SAFE Corps.
