Breaking: Ogun police nab suspects over abduction  of businesswoman, guest

Ogun State Police Command says it has arrested some suspects over the abduction of a businesswoman, Roselyn Edusi and her male guest in Omu, Ofada, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent on Monday.

Edusi and her guest were said to have been abducted in a farm at Omu in Ofada area during their visit to the farm on Saturday, and manhunt started for their abductors to secure their release.

Though the state police spokesman refused to divulge the number of suspects arrested so far, he added that police operatives are already close in on the abductors.

He said, “We have arrested some suspects on the abduction of the businesswoman and her guest at Ofada area.

“I did not want to reveal the number and identities of the suspects arrested so far. But we are closing in on the abductors.”

Since their abduction on Saturday, the victims’ whereabouts had not been known.

Oyeyemi said the gunmen abducted the woman and her guest, who visited her from Lagos.
