A couple, Niyi and Remi Folorunso, and two others have been arrested by the operatives of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly being in possession of a human skull.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspects were arrested in Odogbolu.
Oyeyemi said police operatives went after the suspects after they got an information that they had invaded a graveyard and were digging a particular grave, where a corpse had been buried, and the deceased was not their relation.
He said the Divisional Police Officer, Odogbolu Division, Afolabi Yusuf, a Chief Superintendent of Police, led detectives to the scene but the suspects had already removed the head of the corpse and left.
Oyeyemi said the team then embarked on an intelligence-based investigation which led to the arrest of the couple, Niyi and Remilekun Folorunso as well as Muyideen Tolubi.
He said the three of them confessed being the persons that dug the grave and removed the head of the corpse.
He added that the suspects took detectives to Ikenne where the fourth suspect, Taiwo Sonubi an herbalist, who had asked them to bring the head for ritual purpose was apprehended.
Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
