The Ogun State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Tunde Oladunjoye, has been appointed the board chairman of Ogun State Television.
The governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun announced the appointment of the cerebral journalist and those of other members in a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin.
Other members of the board to work with Oladunjoye as announced by the governor were Mrs Bola Akinyan, Lekan Adejare, Olukotun Segun, Sunday Akinyemi, Avose Johnson, G.O. Ogunfowora, Muri Awolaja, Akeem Anibi and Wale Idowu.
Also Sola Otesile and a former lawmaker representing Remo North, Fatai Sowemimo were appointed board Chairmen of Ogun State Printing Corporation and Water Corporation respectively.
Abiodun also appointed Popoola Adesina Bolaji, Seyi Odumuyiwa, Bode Edun, Rufai Abidemi, Segun Ojolowo and Afeez Balogun as Senior Special Assistants.
The statement indicated that the appointees were drawn from across membership of all the political parties in consonance with the administration’s policy to promote inclusiveness, merit and experience in its quest to building a peaceful and a more prosperous future for citizens of the state.
Governor Abiodun charged the new appointees to be forward thinking in the discharge of the onerous task of moving the state to the next level.
“The Building Our Future Together is more than a mantra. It is a policy thrust that we will leave no stone unturned to actualize. Our inclusiveness is deliberate, because together, we will achieve more and at a faster pace”, the governor added.
These appointments followed ones earlier made by the governor last month.
